Everything you need to know before submitting a project — how we work, what we deliver, how pricing works, and what happens after you reach out.
Submit your project through the contact form — describe the problem, what you need done, and any relevant context. Within one business day, we'll respond with a defined scope, a fixed price, and a delivery timeline. No commitment is required until you approve the scope and pay the deposit. Work starts the same or next business day after that.
No. Many clients come to us with a rough idea, a problem, or a backlog of unfinished work — not a fully defined project. Part of what we do is help scope and structure the work. Submit what you know and we'll ask the right questions to define exactly what needs to happen.
Once scope is approved and the deposit is received, work begins immediately. You'll have a single point of contact managing the engagement. Depending on the project type, we may schedule a kickoff call, request access to files or systems, or begin work directly from the intake notes. You'll receive progress updates and a final delivery walkthrough — typically 1–2 hours — included in the project fee.
Deliverables are sent in the format you need — Word, PDF, Excel, Google Drive, SharePoint, or any file format you specify. For complex systems or dashboards, we provide a walkthrough session so your team understands how to use what was built. Every project includes at least two rounds of revisions before final delivery.
Yes. For remote engagements, we work via screen share, remote desktop access, or direct access to cloud-based tools (Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Monday.com, Asana, Notion, and similar platforms). For on-site engagements in Orange County, we work directly at your location on your systems. We use your preferred file transfer and collaboration method throughout the project.
Every project is scoped based on what it actually requires — the complexity, volume, number of deliverables, and estimated time. We don't bill by the hour; you receive a fixed price for a defined result. The minimum for project engagements is $1,250. After submitting your project, you'll receive a specific price before committing to anything.
Yes — the price is fixed for the agreed scope. If the project runs longer than estimated, that is our responsibility, not yours. If the scope changes — meaning you add deliverables, expand the request, or significantly alter the direction — we issue a separate estimate for the added work before proceeding. You will never receive a surprise invoice.
Project engagements require a 50% deposit to begin work. The remaining balance is due on final delivery. On-Demand sessions ($99 / 30 min) are paid in full at booking. Monthly engagements (Fractional and Retainer) are billed on Net 30 terms, invoiced on the first of each month. Rush pricing is available for expedited timelines — ask about it when you submit your project.
Yes. Monthly engagements committed to 3 or more months include discounted rates. Larger project scopes — particularly Business System Builds — may also include volume-based pricing. Ask when submitting and we'll structure the engagement accordingly.
Monthly engagements (Fractional and Retainer) can be paused or cancelled with written notice. There is no long-term lock-in required to start. Monthly hours reports are provided so you always know exactly what was done each billing cycle.
We handle operations, project management, process documentation, workflow design, SOP development, reporting and dashboards, executive support, stalled project recovery, and organizational system builds. We are not a software development firm, a design agency, or a bookkeeping service. Our work is in the operations, execution, and organizational layer of a business — turning scattered needs into structured, usable deliverables.
It depends on the project type. SOP deliverables are formatted, numbered documents your team can follow and train from. Dashboard deliverables are functional Excel, Sheets, or BI-connected reports with your actual data. Project plan deliverables include a scoped timeline, task assignments, and risk log. Every deliverable is formatted to a professional standard and reviewed for usability before delivery — not a raw draft handed off and abandoned.
All Project engagements include a minimum of two full revision rounds. Retainer engagements include unlimited revisions within the defined monthly scope. Revision requests are handled promptly — typically within 1–2 business days of submission.
Yes. Many projects include building custom Excel workbooks, Google Sheets trackers, operational dashboards, project templates, SOP document sets, or workflow frameworks. These are built for your specific processes, team size, and software environment — not generic templates pulled from a library.
Yes. Stalled project recovery is one of our most common project types. We audit what exists, identify what's broken or missing, reorganize ownership and sequencing, and deliver a clear recovery plan and execution path. We can work with whatever documentation, files, or systems are already in place — however incomplete or disorganized they may be.
Yes. All consultants operate under NDA from the start of every engagement. Your data, processes, internal documents, and business information are never shared, sold, or used outside of the active project. We use your preferred file transfer method and can accommodate client-specific security requirements.
Yes. For clients in regulated industries, we support HIPAA-aligned and ISO-aligned data handling protocols. Notify us of your compliance requirements when you submit your project and we will structure the engagement accordingly — including data handling, transfer methods, and access controls.
Access is scoped to the consultants actively assigned to your project. You control what is shared and we request only the access needed to complete the defined scope. Access credentials are not retained after project close. You can revoke access at any time during the engagement without penalty.
Yes. On-site support is available throughout Orange County, California. We come to your office, facility, or workspace — no client travel required on your end. For clients outside the OC area, all engagements are available remotely with full support via screen share, remote desktop, and cloud-based collaboration tools.
Typically the same or next business day after deposit is received. On-Demand sessions ($99 / 30 min) can be booked for same or next-day availability. For larger projects, we'll confirm the start date in the scope proposal.
We minimize the demand on your time. Most projects require a brief kickoff (30–60 min) and periodic check-ins as needed — not daily involvement from your team. We work independently and surface decisions only when we need your input. The goal is to remove work from your plate, not add coordination overhead.
Submit it anyway. Many of our most successful projects were described as "I'm not sure what to call this, but here's the problem." We scope based on what the work actually requires — not which service category it fits. If the project falls outside what we can deliver, we'll tell you directly and won't waste your time.
Both. We work with solo founders, executives, small teams, mid-size companies, and growing organizations. The engagement model scales to the size and complexity of the need — from a single On-Demand session to an ongoing fractional partnership. If you have real work that needs to get done, we can scope and price it.
Submit your project and we'll answer everything in the scope proposal — before you commit to a single dollar.
